WASHINGTON — Madison Marquette and PN Hoffman are the Hoffman-Madison development team behind the $2.5 billion The Wharf project on D.C.’s Southwest Waterfront, so it only makes sense both firms would want to relocate there.
Madison Marquette makes its move official.
The developer will move its corporate offices to The Wharf’s trophy office building at 1000 Maine Avenue SW, taking 26,000 square feet of space in 1000 Maine. It will share the space with its parent company, Capital Guidance.
Madison Marquette says it will complete the move in summer 2018. The company also maintains offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Fort Lauderdale and Charlotte.
Last week, PN Hoffman announced it was permanently relocating its corporate headquarters from its temporary space at the former Channel Inn building to The Incanto, a mixed use building at 760 Maine Avenue NW. It will take 20,000 square feet for its new headquarters.
The Grand Opening of Phase I of The Wharf, with several entertainment venues, residential buildings, office space and a marina is Oct. 12
Construction of Phase II of The Wharf begins in 2018.
