Firefighter Injured After Falling Off Ladder in Pasadena Bar Fire

WASHINGTON — A firefighter battling a two-alarm blaze in a Pasadena, Maryland, bar was injured Friday morning after falling off a ladder, authorities said.

A spokesman with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said it happened around 3 a.m. at Coconut Charlie’s Bar & Grill on Fort Smallwood Road.

The firefighter was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Part of the bar’s roof collapsed but nobody else was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
