HENRICO, Va. (AP) — A fire official says multiple boats have caught fire at an Henrico County marina.
Media outlets report that firefighters were called to the Richmond Yacht Basin along the James River on Friday morning.
WWBT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2gi8LBS ) that Fire Capt. Taylor Goodman says that “a great number of boats” are on fire at the marina in southeastern Henrico near the Chesterfield border.
Images from the area show a plume of smoke that can be seen from several miles away.
It’s not yet clear what started the blaze or whether anyone is injured.
