WASHINGTON — A man is dead after an early-morning house fire on Winchester Road in Annapolis, Maryland.
Anne Arundel County Fire received a call around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after one of the department’s medics saw flames on the north side of the Severn River Bridge.
It took more than 50 firefighters from Anne Arundel County Fire, the Naval Academy Fire Department and the Annapolis Fire Department to extinguish the blaze.
A second man made it out of the home safely.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
