Chelsea Clinton to Campaign in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) — Chelsea Clinton is set to visit Virginia to campaign for her mother in a potentially crucial swing state.

Clinton is set to attend two events in Roanoke Wednesday as part of a bid to appeal to millennial voters.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign said Chelsea Clinton will tour a pre-K facility and speak to students at Roanoke College.

Virginia is one of a handful of key swing states that could help determine the outcome of the presidential contest on Election Day. But the Old Dominion is getting less attention from campaigns and outside groups than previously expected because Clinton has so far been polling far better than GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
