WASHINGTON – Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and a house and several cars suffered an estimated $1.5 million in damages in a Bethesda house fire Sunday night.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service says that the house at 11801 Danville Drive caught fire at about 11:20 p.m. More than 85 firefighters were required to fight the blaze, which the fire department said was accidental and started on a porch.
A family of five all got out OK, though they’ve been displaced. A pet cat is missing.
