WASHINGTON — Friday morning could prove to be a headache for Metro riders in Bethesda, Maryland.
Red Line service was been temporarily suspended between Medical Center and Grosvenor due to an arcing insulator.
The Medical Center station was shut down while Montgomery County Fire and EMS investigated.
As of 8:30 a.m., trains were single tracking between the stations.
Red Line: Single tracking btwn Medical Ctr & Grosvenor due to a track problem outside Medical Ctr. Expect add’l delays in both directions.
