7 Arrested After Ocean City Boardwalk Fight

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Seven people have been arrested following a large fight on the Ocean City boardwalk.

Ocean City police tell local media that Saturday night, officers responded to a crowd of about 100 people instigating a fight by shouting obscenities. Police tried unsuccessfully to disperse the crowd. When police tried to arrest those participating, they resisted.

The fight finally subsided when officers used stun guns on those participating. Police were then able to make seven arrests, including two minors.

The adults arrested were 18-year-old Kameron Christopher, 19-year-old Allen Nelson, 20-year-old Luis Pirela Linares, 19-year-old Aaron Waples and 18-year-old Jakhai Woodard. Charges among the seven arrested include disorderly conduct, obstruction and resisting arrest.

The two minors were released to their parents.

It’s unclear if any of the men or juveniles arrested have attorneys.
