WASHINGTON — A three-car crash on Maryland Route 32 near Dorsey Run Road in Jessup has sent three people to the hospital Tuesday night, Howard County police said.
A driver had rear-ended one car with two people inside, and then sideswiped another car that also had two people inside around 8:15 p.m.
The driver who collided with the two cars was taken to the hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries. That driver was the only occupant in their car.
The two people in the rear-ended car were also taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other in a less serious condition, police say. The two in the sideswiped car were not injured.
Howard County police continue to investigate the collision, and had still closed eastbound MD-32 at Route 1 as of around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
