BALTIMORE (AP) — Authorities are searching for two people involved in the attempted robbery of three federal agents who were on an undercover mission.
Police said two armed men tried to rob the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents, who were in plain clothes, on Friday afternoon in West Baltimore. They agents were sitting inside a pickup truck on an undercover mission.
Police say a federal agent shot one of the men. The other would-be robber got away. WBAL-TV (http://bit.ly/2qX4oES ) reports that authorities are looking for that suspect and a third suspect who was involved.
Police said a gun was recovered from the man who was shot. The man was expected to survive.
