Forbes released their "America's Most Wired Cities' list and DC comes in at No. 3.
Seattle's increased use of broadband moved it to the top of Forbes' annual list of the 30most broadband-connected cities in the U.S. High rankings in two other categories -- broadband access and wi-fi hot spots -- helped Seattle clinch the top spot.
Since 2007, Forebes.com has measured cities' wired quotient by computing the percentage of Internet users with high-speed connections and the number of companies providing high-speed Internet.
DC vaulted from No. 11 last year all the way to No. 3 this year by improving its wi-fi hot spot and broadband use. The District also took another honor as the city to watch.
