Cherry Blossom Eats at Pink Tie Party

Last night, we hit up he National Cherry Blossom Festival's Pink Tie party at the Mayflower Renaissance hotel. Chefs from about 30 eateries prepared cherry blossom-inspired dishes, though few actually served up dishes that were pink. There were, however, plenty of cherry compotes, Asian flavors, and rosé wine.

The event—which started at 7 P.M—was supposed to go until 11, but most eateries either ran out of food or packed up by 9:30. We managed to snap some pictures before everything was gone, so click through the above gallery to see what you missed.
