Is there a nicer guy in all of sports than Charlie Davies? If so, we'd love to meet him or her. Because it's hard to top Charlie.
Davies has overcome a horrific car crash -- one in which he suffered a lacerated bladder, facial fractures, a fractured tibia and femur and an elbow fracture -- to become a valuable member of D.C. United.
His on-field prowess, though, is overshadowed by his smile off the pitch. Davies seems to love life and raises the spirits of those around him.
And how many professional athletes would let you tag along with them when they get a pedi?
