In an interview with USA Today on Wednesday, however, she was evasive about her return to the series.

“I’ve got this to say about Taylor,” she said when asked about her future plans for Taylor Launter, who will likely see more screen time as Jacob the werewolf in “New Moon.” “He told me the other day that he had gained 14 pounds since I last saw him. He’s only 16. I think he’s chanting to make himself grow.”

Summit Entertainment seems to be moving forward quickly with their follow-up to the teen hit. The studio signed off on the next movie in the “Twilight” saga over the weekend and as previously reported on, the “New Moon” script is already completed. As for the fan-beloved cast — according to the Chicago Sun-Times, stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will earn $12 million each for the sequel, up from the $2 million they earned for “Twilight.”
