Looking to prevent your sister/friend/self from becoming a bridezilla? Yes, yes you are. And if you're not, you should. Do it to preserve her dignity and/or your sanity.
The Amazing Bridal Hunt will send brides-in-the-making and their pals through a scavenger hunt for wedding ideas this Sunday. And yes, you'll be traveling by limo. The goal is to take photos and collect as many items as you can from local wedding vendors. The winning team will receive prizes that include a free wedding-planning package from Exquisite Gems Events. Noon-6 p.m.; $30 per pair.
Sunday also marks the Mid-Atlantic Green Wedding Showcase on the UMD College Park campus. Exhibitors include chocolaterra, Aveda, ECO-BAR and more. Your admission includes a swag bag full of eco-goodies, a free glass of local wine or beer and raffle tickets. 1-5 p.m.; $15 advance or $20 door.
