Brad Pitt On Life With Angelina & Kids: ‘It's Really Rewarding – I'm Right In The Zone'

Brad Pitt might not know where the road ahead will take him, but for the moment, the actor told Ann Curry in an interview for NBC's the "Today" show that he's "in the zone."

Ann caught up with Brad in Cannes on Wednesday morning, where the actor is promoting his new Quentin Tarantino film, "Inglourious Basterds."

"Right now, Angie has been working and I've gotten to be home a lot with the kids," Brad said when asked what family life has been like lately. "Let me be the cliche, it's really rewarding."

Brad explained that fatherhood and family life now guides his life.

"It's really been about discovery, and finding new things and new things of interest," he continued. "And the kids are certainly responsible for a lot of that."

Ann then asked Brad, "Is this the happiest time of your life?"

"I'm right in the zone. One of the most on-track [times of my life]," he said.

The actor explained he has an upcoming project, but wouldn't budge on its details, telling Ann, "I'm gonna do something this summer, [but] I really don't know what's next."

And when Ann explained how millions of women were jealous of her for getting the opportunity to be with him, Brad blushed and tried to change the subject.

"I really, really, really…thank you and, really, let's move on," he said.

"Inglourious Basterds" debuts in Cannes on Wednesday and hits theaters in America on August 21.
