Maryland won't be going to the Orange Bowl, but the remaining bowl prospects for the Terrapins include some intriguing potential matchups.
Under one scenario, the Terps could meet West Virginia on Dec. 27 at the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte, N.C. The two regional rivals aren't scheduled to meet in the regular season for two more years.
It's also possible the Terps could go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl and face Rutgers.
Maryland also could get an bid to the Music City Bowl in Nashville, Tenn., or the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
