9 Cinco de Drinko Specials

Mexican or not, all people love a good party. That might explain the popularity of Cinco de Mayo in D.C., a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's against-all-odds victory against French forces at the Battle of Puebla—not Mexican Independence Day, a popular misconception.

Several eateries, Latin-centric and otherwise, are celebrating the holiday with food and drink specials. Yeah, we know that Cinco de Mayo often means unimaginative tacos and margaritas, but hey—they're cheap tacos and margaritas!
