6/5: Washington Folk Festival

Plus, Second City and "American Buffalo."

LISTEN UP: The Washington Folk Festival is at Glen Echo Park (7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, Md.) all weekend. Catch traditional music -- including Americana, swing and flamenco -- plus storytellers, dancers and craftspeople at the incredible historical trolley park. Noon-7 p.m.; free.

COMEDY ROYALTY: Second City takes over the Shakespeare Theater Company’s Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th St. N.W.) for an uproarious night of improv. The troupe's 50th anniversary tour is guaranteed to give you a great laugh -- hey, it's the same group that Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Mike Myers on the map. 7:15 and 9:15 p.m.; $25-45.

A THIEVERY CORPORATION: It's all thievery and swindling at the Studio Theatre (1501 14th St. N.W.). The classic David Mamet tragicomedy "American Buffalo" showcases a group of men who do all they can to snag a rich man's coin collection. 8 p.m.; $49-$63.
