6/16: ISIS With the Melvins

Plus, "Back to the Future" and Kostume Karaoke

FAREWELL TOUR: Don't miss the action as Seattle grunge forebears the Melvins rock the 9:30 Club (815 V St. N.W.) with ISIS -- one of the greatest alt-metal acts of the past 15 years, now on their farewell tour. 7 p.m.; $20.

SUMMER SCREEN: Great Scott! "Back to the Future" will be playing tonight as a part of the NoMa Summer Screen outdoor film series (L Street between 2nd and 3rd streets N.E.). Bring a blanket or lawn chair, a cooler and your friend Doc Emmett L. Brown, and enjoy this quintessential '80s film under the stars. 9 p.m.; free.

KARAOKE NIGHT: Grab a costume and shun your fear of humiliation when Solly's Tavern (1942 11th St. N.W.) holds its bimonthly Kostume Karaoke. Break out the wigs, capes and makeup, and figure out which terrifying '80s song to call your very own. 8 p.m.; no cover.
