Two Local Food Vendors to Be Featured at Nationals Park

Mmmm ... dumplings at the ballpark.

The Nationals have added two local food companies to the vendor lineup at Nats Park: Pinch Dumplings and Haute Dogs and Fries are the winners of the Pitch Your Product competition, a contest designed to promote local entrepreneurs and help them expand their businesses.

Housed in Baltimore, Pinch Dumplings has been serving up hand-made, gourmet dumplings to hungry costumers since 2013. The chefs use locally grown, organic ingredients following traditional Northern Chinese recipes.

"We look forward to bringing our delicious food to Nationals Park, increasing our product's exposure and educating the fan base about Chinese food," Patrick Exon, COO and co-founder of Pinch Dumplings said, in a press release.

You can buy Pinch Dumplings at their year-old restaurant in Baltimore or at local farmers markets in Dupont and Bethesda.

Launched in 2010, Haute Dogs and Fries uses locally sourced ingredients to cook up affordable but ballpark-worthy dogs. Haute Dogs has two locations, in Alexandria and Purcellville, Virginia.

"Through our Pitch Your Product showcase, not only have we found delicious local fare to serve our fans, but as an organization we are thrilled to have a hand in helping local entrepreneurs expand their visibility," said Valerie Camillo, the Nationals chief revenue and marketing officer.

Nats fans can purchase these tasty treats throughout the 2016 season. Stop by Section 105 for Haute Dogs and Fries or visit Section 302 to pick up Pinch Dumplings.
