PHOTOS: Washed Ashore Exhibit Is Trash to Treasure at the National Zoo

More than 12,000 volunteers have contributed to the cause that makes trash into striking sculptures. The collection of sculptures travels the country to raise awareness of plastic pollution in the water. You can see 17 of the sculptures at the National Zoo through Sept. 5.
