The Funk Parade also featured a fair from noon to 5 p.m., offering live music, entertainment, food vendors and craft brews throughout the U Street area.

The Funk Parade took place from 5 to 7 p.m. along U Street; afterward, the music festival continued from 7 to 10 p.m. at 16 venues along U Street.
