D.C.’s Rock & Roll Hotel is putting on a showcase of very different acts in August to celebrate its seventh anniversary.
The hotel (1353 H St. NE) is bringing in bands that cover just about every genre -- punk, folk, rock, indie, etc. -- during a weeklong concert series from Aug. 12 to 17.
The eclectic concert lineup will feature:
- Aug. 12, 7:30 p.m.: Punk band Ceremony with Ed Schrader’s Music Beat and Give. Tickets on sale for $12 here.
- Aug. 14, 8 p.m.: Laura Jane Grace Sings the Transgender Dysphoria Blues with Mina Caputo. This is exactly what it sounds like. Tickets on sale for $12 here.
- Aug. 16, 9 p.m.: Synth-pop maestro Miyazaki with Medals and Black Hills. Tickets on sale for $10 here.
- Aug. 17, 8 p.m.: Hardcore punk band Kevin Seconds with Kepi Ghoulie and John Stabb: Government Stories & Songs. Tickets on sale for $10 here.
The shows are open to all ages.
