This Underground Art Show Is Serving Pancakes and Booze

Get all you can eat pancakes and all you can drink liquor at Pancakes and Booze.

This is not a drill: You can get all the pancakes you want at an underground art exhibit... for a whopping $5 to $10.

The Pancakes and Booze Art Show highlights the work of local artists, photographers, DJs and bands -- as well as that free pancake bar -- through the wee hours this Thursday night, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Big Chief (2002 Fenwick St. NE) will be hosting Pancakes and Booze; this New Orleans-inspired venue is home to three bars, including one on the rooftop. On Thursday, it will also be filled with great art, drinks and positive vibes.

Besides pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes, the showcase will include live music, body painting and regular ol' (i.e., non-body) painting.

Pancakes and Booze has been held in more than 30 cities worldwide since 2009. You must be at least 21 to attend, so don't forget to bring your ID.

Admission is $5 cash at the door, or $10 for a skip-the-line VIP pass.
