Ever dreamed about becoming a chocolatier? Or maybe just about chocolate? OK, the latter is more likely, but either way, Artfully Chocolate in Alexandria offers several tasty classes for those interested in a hands-on experience (because who doesn't want more time with chocolate?).
If the wine and chocolate sound great on their own, Artfully Chocolate offers a wine and chocolate pairing seminar. Attendees learn all about the ins and outs of fine chocolate and wine, and how to maximize the flavors of both. Four wines and chocolates are provided during the event.
For the true chocoholic, a chocolate-tasting class might be the best choice. Tasting classes offer an introduction to the culture of fine chocolate, and teach students what to look for in chocolate. You'll also get an overview on how chocolate has evolved over the centuries. Six chocolates are included in the class.
If you want to get a bit more creative, take a course on making your own mosaic or painted serving tray. You'll get to taste 2-3 glasses of wine and chocolate pairings during the session.
Each of the three options takes place at Artfully Chocolate, and run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
