Planning a trip to Philly this winter? Consider a stop at the Blue Cross RiverRink (101 S Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia) while their Winterfest is still running, offering you a rustic experience right down to the antlers.
You can, of course, take a spin on the skating rink along the Delaware River, but there's a whole lot more than that: You'll also find winter warming cottages, decked out with strings of holiday lights and plenty of seasonal decor; firepits, plus a cozy lodge with rustic decor right down to (erm, up to) the antler chandeliers. Garces Group and the Franklin Fountain Confectionary Cabin are on site serving up food and treats.
General admission to the Winterfest is free. Tickets for ice skating are available in timed sessions daily through Feb. 14. Skating is $3 for rink access only, or $13 with skate rental.
