The new-kid-on-the-block flea market, District Flea, is returning for a second year to the Shaw area with plenty of jewelry, vintage rags and yes, a ton of food.
The sunny-Saturday pop-up became a staple in the weekend scene for the hip (no -ster) U Street morning crowd with a mix of furniture, fashion and plenty of local beer.
Drool-worthy food vendors include Jose Andre's Pepe truck, Cowbell Kitchen and Luke's Lobster.
The fun will begin Saturday, April 5 at 945 Florida Ave. NW, near the 9:30 Club, and continue every Saturday through the fall. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
