‘Acoustic Rooster' Premiers at The Kennedy Center

Before becoming a world-renowned author or Newbery Medal winner for his work in literature, Herndon’s Kwame Alexander had an idea for a children’s book based on his daughter’s love of music. A decade later “Acoustic Rooster’s Barnyard Boogie” is making its world premiere at the Kennedy Center. Tommy McFly reports.
