Tracy Morgan to Perform at Kennedy Center

Morgan's "Picking Up the Pieces" tour is his first multi-city tour since his 2014 highway accident

Tracy Morgan's "Picking Up the Pieces" tour -- his first multi-city tour since he was injured in a 2014 accident -- is coming to the Kennedy Center.

Tickets are still available for Morgan's April 22 performance in the Kennedy Center's Concert Hall.

"Picking Up the Pieces" is Morgan's first big tour since the devastating highway accident that killed his close friend and fellow comedian James McNair, known in the comedy world as Uncle Jimmy Mack. The crash also left Morgan with broken bones and brain damage.

Morgan was a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" from 1996 to 2003 and was an Emmy nominee for his role as Tracy Jordan on the NBC comedy series "30 Rock."

Morgan's stand-up show is part of the Kennedy Center's star-filled comedy lineup this season, which will also feature John Oliver of HBO's "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" and YouTube sensation Miranda Sings.

Tickets for "Picking Up The Pieces" range from $79 to $99. The show starts at 8 p.m.
