Starbucks Now Delivers in DC

Need your half-caf soy latte but can't bear to leave home? Starbucks now delivers in D.C.

Starbucks launched delivery in D.C. via Uber Eats on Monday. Ninety-five percent of the Starbucks menu is available, including food, the company said.

The goal is to make it easy for customers to enjoy Starbucks, the head of UberEverything said.

"At Uber Eats, we’re always looking for new ways to offer people the widest selection of food they love. That’s why we’re so excited to deliver Starbucks fans their favorite food and beverages in a way that’s as easy as requesting a ride," Jason Droege said in a statement.

So far, Starbucks delivery is only available in seven major cities, including New York and Los Angeles.

There's a $2.49 booking fee, which would bring the total cost of that $4.65 tall half-caf soy latte to $7.61, with tax.
