Ryan Seacrest's New NBC Game Show Searching for Contestants

Ryan Seacrest is back with a new game show, and they're beginning the nationwide search for knowledgeable, hardy contestants.

“The Million Second Quiz," which is produced and hosted by Seacrest, will air live on NBC starting Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. Contestants will be competing for a $10 million prize, which is, according to the show’s website, for “the biggest prize in game show history."

The show will take place live for 24 hours a day over a 12-day period. There will be quizzes around the clock that are meant to test the contestant’s intellect and endurance.

This is the first attempt at a completely interactive game show experience where viewers can download “The Million Second Quiz” app and play along at home in real time.

Anyone can apply to be a contestant by attending an open casting call in five cities or submitting an application on the show’s website that includes a video audition. Applicants must be 18 or older and have legal U.S. citizenship.

The Washington D.C. casting call will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 at Madam’s Organ, located 2461 18th St. NW, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
