The Maryland Irish Festival is back at the Maryland State Fairgrounds this weekend, giving you the chance to celebrate Irish culture, Nov. 7-9.
Expect to experience plenty of live Irish music and dance along with a wide variety of Irish cuisine and beer. Kids can enjoy a play area with bouncy castles, activities and games.
Live music includes the Brock McGuire Band and Makem & Spain. You'll also find an Irish baking contest, a book fair and more; see a complete list of events here.
General admission is $20 for each day. For seniors, it's $15; teens, $5 and kids younger than 14 and active military members (with ID) get in free. Three-day general admission is $50; seniors pay $35.
Timonium is located about 75 minutes north of downtown D.C.
