Hill Releases Its “50 Most Beautiful” List

Want to find out if your best-friend-turned-staffer is one of the most beautiful people on the Hill? There's a list for that.

Today, TheHill.com released its annual list of the 50 Most Beautiful people inside the Beltway.

Although most honorees come from the political sector, communications and public relations specialists have also been known to make the cut.

This year's number one spot went to Danielle Sikes, a Republican legislative correspondent for Rep. Bob Gibbs by day -- and a member of the Red Rockers, the Washington Capitals' spirit and dance squad, by night.

Sikes told The Hill that Gibbs' staff "gets a kick out of" her "double life."

Breaking it down by political party, Democrats led the list with 23 spots. Despite scoring the top two spots, Republicans fared a bit less well on the list, with 19.

Nonpartisan, independent and unaffiliated winners nabbed eight spots.

Beauty isn't the only star of The Hill's list. Third-place winner Devron Brown was also a standout for his unique fashion sense.

"I really try to give it my all in every outfit," Brown told The Hill. "I'm from Las Vegas, it’s all about presentation."

The Hill surprised readers this year by asking them to vote for a "people's choice" winner. Meredith Raimondi, a scheduler for Rep. Betty McCollum and director of City Dogs Rescue, won the spot.

Raimondi was up against four others, including Megan Chan, director of digital product for Politico, and Brian Johnson, director of federal relations at the American Petroleum Institute.
