    Here's something to do with the family this weekend: One last ride on the carousel at Glen Echo Park in Montgomery County, for now.

    The popular ride will shut down after Sunday so the building that houses it can undergo some major renovations.

    That will include replacing the roof and outdated sprinkler and fire alarm system.

    Work is expected to take from six to nine months and cost just over $1 million.
