From short films on conservation to features on sheepherding, overfishing and sharks, you can take in your fill of environmentally-themed films this weekend. Check the schedule to see a full list of films and where each screening takes place.

World Stages: "The Last Supper"

Egyptian playwright and director Ahmed El Attar will bring his dark satire "The Last Supper" to its first American stage this weekend. The play tells the story of an affluent Egyptian family as they gather around the table and wait for dinner to arrive. According to the Kennedy Center’s website, it highlights the indifference of the bourgeoisie in Egypt.
The play will be performed in Arabic with projected English subtitles. There will be a post-show discussion on March 14. Tickets cost between $15 and $35.

Like its next-door neighbor the cherry blossom bar, Publin comes from D.C. pop-up bar purveyor Drink Company, which calls its newest spot an "ode to spring, delivering the 'luck of the Irish'."
The bar opened Thursday and features decor inspired by the shamrock and Ireland, decked out with flowers and almost 200 oversized four-leaf clovers. Publin also features a "larger-than-life gilded gold beehive suspended above the bar," according to a release.
Friday
Trap Karaoke

The organizers of the event say that Trap Karaoke is for “personal empowerment, cultural participation, cherished moments, community, and creating a safe space for human connection.” Attendees can sign up to perform songs on stage.
The event is 21+. Tickets are $42 each.
Saturday
Terrarium Class with Succulents

Live out your Urban Outfitters-catalog dreams at the Lemon Bowl Collective this weekend. For $50, you can create your own succulents terrarium with plants, rocks and moss to take home. The price includes all materials.
Irish Stroll: St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day this year with a bar crawl through 10 of Dupont Circle’s most popular bars. The purchase of your wristband will give you cover-free access to drink specials like $3 beers, $4 rail drinks and $5 shots. Deck yourself out in complementary green beads, grab a commemorative koozie and head out to your favorite local spots.
Volunteer Strawberry Planting

Summer fruit season is almost upon us! Help Cultivate the City on their annual strawberry planting day this weekend as they plant their crops in the rooftop farm. Every volunteer who makes it out to the rooftop farm to help plant the crops will also be able to take home their own strawberry plant.
Nowruz: A Persian New Year Celebration

Ring in the Persian New Year at the Freer|Sackler's 11th annual Nowruz celebration. At Saturday’s event, you can attend pop-up concerts, create Nowruz cards, crowns, and puppets and feast on local Persian food. The event is free and for all ages.

Need even more ways to celebrate the Persian New Year? Head over to a free market on Saturday to enjoy performances from the Silk Road Dance Company, shop for holiday gifts and view the Haft-sin table. There is plenty for kids to do, and a pop-up tea tent will be vending tea and snacks.

Environmental Film Festival: Blowout Screening

On Sunday head out to the Carnegie Institution for Science to see the screening of Blowout as part of this year’s annual Environmental Film Festival. According to the festival’s website, the film highlights the work of “investigative journalists, scientists, and concerned citizens,” who “trace the fallout of a new American fossil fuel boom.” It will also analyze American energy’s global impacts on profits, public health, and climate change.
There will be a post-screening discussion. Tickets to the screening are $10 each.
Yoga at the National Building Museum + Museum Tour

Attend an all-level yoga class in the Great Hall of The National Building Museum this weekend. Tickets are $20 and include yoga, entrance to the museum to tour the exhibits and an optional private and guided 40-minute Historic Museum Tour after class. No previous yoga experience is required. St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a performance by The Washington Chorus. The concert will feature an Irish band, dancers, pipe players and Irish classic choral arrangements. Tickets cost between $18 and $64.
