Echostage (2135 Queens Chapel Road NE) is throwing its inaugural Psy Sea (Psychedelic Sea) bash Saturday, July 6, featuring trippy music, a costume contest and just about anything you can imagine that involves water.

Tickets are $25 in advance. As the Facebook event says: “18 plus to swim, 21 to drown.” In layman's terms, that means alcohol will be available.

Performers will include DJs Lisa Lashes, Talamasca, Rekoil, Knowledge, Soappy and more, setting the mood for a night of wet, psychedelic debauchery.

"Break out the swimwear or incorporate your favorite underwater creature into your costume," organizers say.

Other water-themed festivities will include mermaids and other ocean-themed actresses, sea decor installations, and, most importantly, “lots and lots of bubbles.” Bonus! The first 500 people will score free rubber ducks.
