Taste of the Nation Returns to Fight Childhood Hunger

What could be better than unlimited food and drinks after a tiring Monday at work? Enjoying all of it while helping to fight the hunger that one in five American kids experiences.

Taste of the Nation will feature more than 90 top chefs and bartenders Monday at the National Building Museum (401 F St. NW), while helping to benefit nonprofit group No Kid Hungry.

Whether you're in the mood for contemporary American cuisine, fresh seafood, delicious ice cream or simply a few after-work drinks, Taste of the Nation has you covered. Participating restaurants and bars include 1789 Restaurant, Bar Pilar, Hank's Oyster Bar, Ice Cream Jubilee and Urbana Dining & Drinks.

This delicious and charitable event will also feature an auction offering items from more than 100 spots, such as Bikram Yoga Dupont, Buttercream Bakeshop, Geppi's Entertainment Museum and The Wine Kitchen.

General admission is $120 for attendance from 7 to 9:30 p.m.; VIP admission is $175, and will get you in an hour earlier. Tickets are available online.
