The District's Chinatown Arch will get a makeover during the Year of the Rat. (If you're more familiar with the Gregorian calendar, that's next year.)
The D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities says the arch will be spruced up in the spring. A group of churches has been pushing for the fix because the colors are fading and peeling.
It's been 10 years since the arch's last restoration.
