D.C. Restaurant Week Returns Aug. 19-25

Get ready for seven days of delicious foods, tasty treats and sweet deals during D.C.'s Summer Restaurant Week, which kicks off Monday.

Restaurants are dishing up three-course meals for low rates from Aug. 19 to 25. Lunches are $20.13 and most dinners are $35.13, which grants you three-course prix fixe menu of an appetizer, entree and dessert.

The week is an opportunity to try new cuisine, explore restaurants in new neighborhoods or enjoy old favorites. Hundreds of featured restaurants include Art & Soul, Lincoln, Mintwood Place, Poste and more. Just make sure you make reservations, because tables fill up fast during Restaurant Week.

You may also come across a special bonus this time around. Diners at participating restaurants will have the opportunity to enjoy Chilean wines and vote for their favorite winery and restaurant at TasteChile2013.com. They'll also be entered to win a Chilean wine dinner for 10 at the winner’s favorite participating restaurant.
