Ambassador Shows Off German Electronic Cars on Display at Auto Show
Wednesday, Jan 24, 2018
Germany is getting behind the production of electronic cars, embracing the environment and innovation, according to Ambassador Peter Wittig.
Germany encourages automakers and consumers to get on board the electric car bandwagon.
“There are tax incentives for buying the cars, and the German government invests in infrastructure to spread the grid of the charging stations,” Wittig said.
Wittig showed News4’s Barbara Harrison some of the latest German models, which will be on display at the Washington Auto Show beginning Friday at the Washington Convention Center.
