“Bachelorette's” Ali and Roberto Slow Down Wedding Plans

"Bachelorette" winner Ali Fedotowsky and beau Roberto Martinez are putting the breaks on their wedding plans. But it's not because of any lover's quarrels; rather, they just want to enjoy their time together, reports People.

"We're waiting a little bit," said Fedotowsky, 26, in a recent interview with the magazine. "We really want to make sure we're doing this right."

She added that the slow down has nothing to do with the couple's feelings for each other.

"Nothing has changed -- we're just as happy as we were,"  "When we were finished [with the show], we were so excited. We were like, 'Oh, we're going to get married right away.' But if you're rushing because you're in love, why rush?"

The couple moved to San Diego after the finale of the hit ABC reality show and have started to consider wedding venues "somewhere on the California coast."

"We didn't want to travel for our own wedding," she said. "We were thinking that maybe we'll want to get married, then go home for a couple of days, relax, and then go on our honeymoon."

Fedotowsky said the couple was exhausted by the travel involved with filming the TV show.

"We just came off like a three-month-long honeymoon on 'The Bachelorette," she said. "We were just in Tahiti! We're tired of traveling like that."
