“The Voice” Recap: And the 8 Eliminated Contestants Are…

And then there were 12!

Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton each had to say goodbye to two of their contestants on tonight's episode of The Voice.

It wasn't all sad eliminations, however, as the night featured some fun performances: Team Adam and Team Blake performed Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger," Team Cee Lo and Team Christina teamed up for Train's "Drive By," season two winner Jermaine Paul sang his new single "I Believe in This Life," and Maroon 5 took the stage to perform their latest hit single "Daylight." Good times, good times. But now, the results!

Team Adam

The two artists on Adam's team that received the most votes are Amanda Brown and Bryan Keith, who automatically move on to the Top 12. Forced to choose between Loren Allred, Joselyn Rivera, and Melanie Martinez, Adam (wearing an adorable Fair Isle sweater, by the way!) decides to save Melanie because she's "unique."

Team Blake

Scottish rocker Terry McDermott and former Hey Monday lead singer Cassadee Pope were the contestants America loved the most on Team Blake. So which contestant did the country crooner decide to keep in the competition? Michaela Paige, which means Liz Davis and Julio Cesar Castillo are dunzo on The Voice.

Team Christina

The two contestants on the songtress' team that America loves the most? Former college football cutie Dez Duron and diva Sylvia Yacoub! That leaves De'borah, Devyn DeLoera and Adriana Louise, with Christina choosing to save Adriana as a way to give her an opportunity to really showcase what she really has to offer.

Team Cee Lo

Out of Cee Lo's five guys, America chose teen standout Trevin Hunte and the soulful Nicholas David as their top two contestants on his team. Cee Lo decides to save "most improved" Cody Belew, which means cutie MacKenzie Bourg and rocker Diego Val's journey on the NBC hit reality series is over.
