“Splash” Shocker: Kendra Wilkinson Quits Because of Her Fear of Heights

"I'm so sorry," Kendra said after refusing to make her dive on the ABC reality series

Not all fears can be conquered.

That was the lesson Kendra Wilkinson learned during Tuesday's episode of ABC's new reality series "Splash," the diving equivalent of "Dancing With the Stars."

Because of her intense fear of heights, the Playboy playmate refused to dive, eliminating her from the competition.

"I'm so sorry, everybody," Wilkinson said when she was unable to dive from the 23-foot-high platform. "This is the first time in my life I've quit something. This will haunt me for the rest of my life."

Wilkinson was paired with extreme skier Rory Bushfield during the episode, which presented the celebs with a synchronized diving challenge. Prior to Wilkinson's inability to dive from the board, Bushfield was advised by doctors not to compete after he ruptured an eardrum in practice.

"I start spinning, I start wanting to throw up, I'm shaking, my fingers wiggle," the reality-TV star recently told E! News' Terrence Jenkins about her fear of heights. "It's ilke a real thing, when my fingers wiggle--that's, like, a truth."
