“Sharknado 2”: Kelly Osbourne, Vivica A. Fox, Andy Dick and More Join Syfy's Sequel

We're going to need more umbrellas.

"Sharknado 2: The Second One," Syfy's highly anticipated follow up to last summer's smash hit original movie, has cast a bevy of familiar faces to join returning stars Tara Reid and Ian Ziering in the fight to save New York City.

Vivica A. Fox, Andy Dick, Judd Hirsch, Judah Friedlander, Mark McGrath and Kelly Osbourne are all set to star in the sequel, which will premiere in July 2014, E! News has confirmed.

So who will they all be playing in the movie, which is sure to trend on Twitter (at its peak, the original generated 5,000 tweets per minute)?

In the sequel, Fox will play an old high school friend of Fin (Ziering), which is just so hilarious considering the "Kill Bill" star once appeared on Ziering's hit series, "Beverly Hills, 90210."

Even more entertaining? Hirsch, who starred in the beloved series "Taxi," will play a cab driver, while comedian Dick will play a cop.

McGrath (aka the lead singer of Sugar Ray) will play Fin's brother-in-law and "Fashion Police's" very own Osbourne will take on the role of a flight attendant.

According to Syfy, the sequel, which will begin production in New York City next week, will find Fin and April (Reid) trying to save NYC after a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on the city, with sharks looking to take a bite of the Big Apple. (Sorry, we couldn't resist.)

"Sharknado was an extraordinary 'perfect storm' which captured the attention of movie fans across the globe," Syfy's executive vice president Thomas Vitale said in a statement. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing about Sharknado! By reassembling the creative team-and dropping sharks onto New York's iconic sites-we're unleashing yet another 'fin' wave of shark-mania."

(E! and Syfy are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
