Robin Thicke Cancels Another Show Following Split from Wife Paula Patton

With the way things are going, Boston University students may not have to worry about Robin Thicke performing at their school after all.

Following the unfortunate news that the singer and his wife of nearly nine years, Paula Patton, have decided to separate, the "Blurred Lines" crooner has canceled yet another show from his American tour.

On Monday night, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina announced that Thicke had canceled his Tuesday night show and that the gig will be postponed.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah's Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25. This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience," the resort explained on their website.

This is the third consecutive concert that the celeb has scrapped. Citing vocal troubles, Thicke, who was supposed to have started his tour last week, also canceled shows set for Friday in Atlanta and Saturday in Orlando.

In a statement released Thursday, he said, "I never want to let down my fans but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform tomorrow night."

The next date on Thicke's tour is Thursday at the GMU Patriot Center in a suburb of Washington, D.C.

The string of cancellations come on the heels of his split from Patton. According to reports, Patton told Thicke on Friday that she wanted to end their marriage, so Thicke flew to Vancouver, where Paula is currently on location shooting, as an attempt to save their relationship (and that's reportedly the real reason why the singer canceled his show in Atlanta).

However, his impromptu trip didn't seem to work. The two announced the news yesterday and released the following statement, "We will always love each other and be best friends; however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."
