Lebron James took his talent to the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, he’s taking his show to HBO.

James’ barbershop-based talk show, “The Shop,” will appear on HBO “periodically throughout the year,” the company said in a news release.

The series, which initially debuted on James’ Uninterrupted digital medium, will feature “unfiltered conversation and debate with some of the biggest names in sport and entertainment.”

The show is scheduled to first appear on HBO on Aug. 28. The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report that the show partnered with the network.

“LeBron James told us he wanted to create a place where athletes and artists can come together to share points of view freely,” said Peter Nelson, executive vice president of HBO Sports, in a statement. “We are honored they want HBO to be the home of that conversation.”

In a tweet, James said “I am so proud of this project. Athletes and artists get to have a real, uninterrupted discussion the way we always do.”

Episodes of “The Shop” will routinely feature James and Maverick Carter, according to the release. Rapper Snoop Dogg, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara are among the guests that will appear on the show’s first HBO episode.

The show will be filmed in various barbershops across the country and will pursue guests with knowledge of sports, pop culture, music, business and world events, according to the news release.
