Jimmy Kimmel Expecting a Baby With Wife

Jimmy Kimmel is adding another face to the kids' table.

The late-night talk show host is expecting a baby with wife Molly McNearney, Kimmel announcing the big news during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres scheduled to air on Wednesday's episode of Ellen.

"I'm having a baby," he revealed, much to the audience's delight. "With Ellen."

Which would be amazing, but congratulations to him and Molly, who's a staff writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live. They tied the knot last July and this will be their first child together. Kimmel is also dad to two grown children, Katie and Kevin, from his first marriage.

"No, I decided to have the first one with my wife," Kimmel added.

"You know, it's disgusting the way babies are made...There's so many human body parts involved," he then launched into a little tutorial. "Did you know that there are eggs in us? That's gross, just to start with."

Ellen asked if he would be an involved dad.

"Involved?!" Kimmel replied in awe. "Well, I have two kids already. I don't know where they are, but I hear they're doing great...I have a 20-year-old son and a 22-year-old daughter and I've really forgotten everything [about raising kids]."

"There are new ways to do things," he continued, looking baffled. "You hold them by the front of the neck now..."

"Is that Emily [Blunt] and John [Krasinski] you're talking about?" Ellen wondered. "No, they're doing it wrong."

"It's weird, at my age," the 46-year-old funnyman added. "I'm going to be one of those old dads."

"Well, you're not as old as some dads right now," Ellen reassured him. "You're not that old."

"But I'm getting older every single day," he reminded her, to which she had to agree, "That is true."
