Jane Fonda Pans Oscar Host Seth MacFarlane's Boob Routine

Actress took to her blog to express her displeasure over the "Family Guy's" performance emceeing Hollywood's biggest night.

Jane Fonda apparently isn't much of a fan of Seth MacFarlane.

The erstwhile "Barbarella" gave a big thumbs-down to the Oscar host's opening song-and-dance number at Sunday's ceremony that focused on her fellow actresses' willingness to go topless on screen.

While she didn't single MacFarlane out by name, Fonda offered up her review of the controversial routine on her blog, saying the "We Saw Your Boobs" song was too crass given the audience tuning in.

"What I really didn't like was the song and dance number about seeing actresses' boobs. I agree with someone who said, if they want to stoop to that, why not list all the penises we've seen?" wrote the 75-year-old screen legend and feminist icon. "Better yet, remember that this is a telecast seen around the world watched by families with their children and to many this is neither appropriate or funny."

But that wasn't all Fonda had a problem with. She wasn't keen on a joke MacFarlane told about 9-year-old Oscar Quvenzhan Wallis' age in relation to a much older George Clooney when he said, "To give you an idea of how young she is, it'll be 16 years before she's too young for Clooney."

"I also didn't like the remark made about Quvenzhan and Clooney, or the stuff out of Ted's mouth and all the comments about what women do to get thin for their dresses," added the screen legend. "Waaaay too much stuff about women and bodies, as though that's what defines us."

Seth MacFarlane says "no way" he'll host the Oscars again

She'll certainly be pleased to know the Family Guy mastermind said he has no intention of hosting again.

On the other hand, Fonda had nothing but praise for many other Oscar moments, most memorably Charlize Theron dancing with Channing Tatum.

"Is there anything that beautiful creature can't do?!" she asked.

She also gave a thumbs-up to Shirley Bassey belting out "Goldfinger" as well as performances by Barbra Streisand, Adele and the cast of Les Misrables.
