Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis Are Married

The pair exchanged vows at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, California

Congratulations are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Derek Jeter.

The retired New York Yankees star, 42, married model Hannah Davis, 26, on Saturday evening, E! News confirms. In front of close family and friends, the pair exchanged vows at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, California.

According to Us Weekly, the bride walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang gown while the groom wore a handsome black suit. The ceremony began around 5 p.m. local time and lasted about 20 minutes.

The private couple dated for three years before news of their engagement broke in October. "They are extremely excited and in love!" a source told E! News at the time. "They can't wait to spend their lives together."

It's not just the two of them, though — Jeter and Davis are the proud parents of a 100-plus pound Italian Mastiff named Kane. In an interview with The Players' Tribune, Jeter revealed the enormous dog "was a Christmas gift last year from my fiancée," and he's the first to admit he was a little unsure about his puppy present at the start.

Although Davis' "family had Mastiffs growing up," Jeter had "never owned a pet" before," he explained. But with some training (for the dog and his new owner), Jeter and Kane are getting along quite nicely.

Family — fur and human — is very important to the couple. "Trying to impress you with material things? I think that's lame," she told Maxim earlier this year. "I wanted someone whose family is a big, important part of their life."

And that may eventually include kids. "I mean, I want to have a family," Jeter told NBC News back in 2014. "Who knows when it's gonna be? But I look forward to it."

As do we. Until then, though, congratulations to Jeter and Davis on their "I do's!"
